Full Planning Application

If or when a full planning application is necessary, the next task is to draw up the finalised sketch designs on CAD. One is then ready to compile and submit a full planning application of which there are various types dependent on the project size, location, whether a Listed Building etc.

In most cases a Design & Access Statement is also required. This document sets out to describe in detail and justify all design decisions made. The Access component is concerned with demonstrating provision for disabled access into and around the building(s).

Numerous other documents may be necessary to accompany an application dependent on its size, use and complexity. You would have been advised about these in the original fee quotation.

In most cases, planning applications take approximately 8 weeks to be determined by the local authority.

A local authority fee is charged for all planning applications.
