Contract Administration

This role (often incorrectly referred to as Project Management) involves us administering the project throughout the construction phase, to ensure that work is constructed on time, to budget and to the requisite quality standards.

The role includes: 

  • Attending regular site meetings
  • Addressing day-to-day queries 
  • Assessing contractor’s monthly payment claims (unless undertaken by QS) and issue payment certificates 
  • Issuing Architect’s Instructions for variations as necessary 
  • On completion issuing Practical Completion Certificate and partial release of retention
